Portfolio Entry #20: Adverbs of Frequency - Present Simple Tense.

We use adverbs of frequency – like sometimes or usually – to say how often we do things, or how often things happen. We use adverbs of frequency in this order, according to their meaning.

  Utilizamos los adverbios de frecuencia para decir con qué frecuencia realizamos o sucede alguna acción. Los adverbios de frecuencia se utilizan en el siguiente orden, de acuerdo a su significado.

  
Examples: Pay attention to the structures - Prestar atención a las estructuras. 

        Subject    +   Adverb + Main verb 
Marie and Susan        always play             football together. 


Subject + be + Adverb 
Jack         is always      late.

MEANING, USE & FORM 1. MEANING AND USE  * The past continuous shows us that the action was already in progress at a certain time in the past. What were you doing at 8 p.m. last night? I was studying.
